After 3 weeks on the 5:2 Fast diet I haven’t lost a single pound. As a matter of fact, I’ve gained a pound. I was 157 when I started and now I’m 158. That’s f-ed up.
Fasting isn’t easy. I wonder what I’m doing wrong. I must be eating too much on my non-fasting days. For the next week or so I’m going to count my calories on non-fasting days just to make sure I stay around 1800. Maybe My gauge is way off – that’s gotta be how I got this big in the first place! I must be eating 2500 calories on my non-fasting days to have gained another pound in a month! It’s depressing and discouraging.
And I know I’m not “big” – but I’m not nearly in the shape I could be in and I’m just trying to take better care of myself. I have to get back to running – knee pain be damned. I’m gonna add a requirement of 15000 steps/day to my regimen, in addition to calorie counting. I have GOT to figure this out. I know that if I do it right, these extra pounds should melt away.
